Hotel Barrett

The location of this hotel is amazing, located centrally and with a 30 minute walk to the Vatican and 10 minutes to most tourist sites. The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. The food in the fridge is crazy and replenished every day, so much lovely food. Very clean and so many extra touches in the room. The beds are lovely and comfortable and there is everything in a room you could possibly need for a holiday in Rome.

The shower cubicles are self contained units and at 6ft 3 my husband didnt fit inside it, even though I am must shorter I couldn't turn around without hitting the walls. We learnt to adapt for 4 days!!

Perfect location - easy to get there from Roma Termini by bus and to explore Rome on feet. Amazing staff - very polite, helpful and dedicated to making you feel special. They asked for our arrival time and our room was waiting for us, earlier than the official check-intime. The room was spectacular - an amazing experience, feeling the atmosphere of Rome.

The only minor inconvenience is that there are some steps to reach the hotel, as it is located in a historic building. However, this is part of its charm and character.

Accueil très sympathique, emplacement exceptionnel, nourriture et boissons à volonté dans la chambre, incroyable !!! Nous y étions en juillet et c'était vraiment appréciable lors des pauses à l'hôtel.

La salle de bain était un peu petite et uniquement fermée par une porte coulissante mais c'est un détail. La décoration est très atypique, nous avions la chambre rose,très très chargée : mon fils de 17 ans a eu un peu de mal à s' habituer au début mais le frigo rempli de victuailles lui a vite fait oublier!!!

The location was wonderful and the staff was great. But the room was so small we couldn’t open our carry ons if it wasn’t on the bed, so we had to have them next to our night stand closed. Breakfast was in the room!! There was a shelf which was like a pantry and a mini fridge stocked with hotdogs, cheese and other things (I was appalled that the profile of this hotel said excellent breakfast included. Walls so thin, that if one person woke up at 6 am for an early start, it woke us all up. Expensive price as well… over 700€ for 4 nights. I will not return.
