Athens Starlight Hotel

The hotel is nice, the staff is well prepared to attend your needs and I had a very good experience with the reception and taxi-calling service. Breakfast was also nice. I would definetly stay again here. The bedroom is clean and cozy.

I stayed in a rooftop. Dispite being a very nice room, there were two things I didn't like and would definetly bother me if I were staying more than a night at this room: (1) there is an emergency light on the top of the door and it is always ON, which makes the room too bright to sleep confortably. This light should be conected to off-system and turn ON only when there is a power outage; (2) the hot tub is located outside the room, and the door that separates these two places has a glass which lets the light from outside enter the room no matter what. There should be something covering it if desidered. These two points make the room very bright even in the middle of the night.

The location is really convenient and close to everything. We could reach the main attractions on foot. The receptionists were very kind and helpful. Although the hotel is in the city center, the sound insulation is good, so the noise from outside doesn’t bother you. The bed and pillows were also okay.

The room doesn’t look like the one shown in the pictures. The ceiling is too low, which makes the room feel cramped. In addition, the curtains don’t properly cover the window, so a lot of light comes into the room, making it difficult to sleep well. The breakfast was also disappointing and didn’t look like the pictures at all.
