Everything about the property was just perfect. Without a doubt the best place we have ever stayed in as a group. There were beautiful bedrooms (all with en suite) for us all. Really comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms, and bedding.
The reception rooms were thoughtflly laid out to accommodate a big group area and areas for solitude and quiet. The kitchan was huge and very well equipped, with further facilities in the utility room.
There was loads of space for seating and dining and the conservatory and games room were fabulous. The stream running by the conservatory was a delight and the gardens are beautifully laid out with loads of seating and space to the front and back.
The location was also perfect to see some lovely parts of this beautiful county.
It was just exceptional!
We love hot tubs and as we were novices we found getting the hot tub going and keeping it working was a bit challenging - but worth it when it finally got heated to a suitable temperature.

Everything, clean, so well equipped, comfortable, basically everything you could ever want for a large group!
Nothing - no complaints at all from us!

Very nicely furnished, clean and adequately equipped.
Part of the reason for us choosing the Chequers was the hot tub for the children which unfortunately was out of action. Very disappointing. Hinge on the fridge exploded into daughter-in-law s face, which cannot be foreseen.
