A verey central hotel in the High Street. The staff on reception were excellent, kind and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.
We decided to have dinner there and the meal was delicious. Breakfast in the upstairs restaurant was superb.
Our room was on the 3rd floor and there isn't a lift but we did know this before we booked - we are in our 70's and travelling for 10 days and had a large suitcase. But we managed.
I read that there was a car park behind the hotel and we drove around the town 4 times trying to find it. Eventually we parked on the road and asked inreception. It isn't signposted and isn't obvious but it was only £1 for a night - so no complaints

Lovely room, comfortable bed, super breakfast.
Parking a walk away and early morning meter feed required ... remember to take your car key with you (I didn't so my wife brought the key but forgot the room key!!!)

NO EV CHARGE POINTS IN THE TOWN OR VICINITY FOR MY NISSAN LEAF. YOU NEED TO GET THE COUNTY COUNCIL TO DO SOMETHIG [POSITIVE AS THE ELECTRIC CHARGE IS ESSENTIAL FOR TOURISTS
