Our month stay at the cozy cottage was just that. Wonderful modernized historic bungalow in the Heights with everything you might need. The kitchen was topnotch with new appliances and cookware that this foodie sincerely appreciated. Beds were comfortable with an abundance of pillows and throws. The outdoor space was private and well equipped. We had our furbaby in tow and the area was perfect for evening walks and exercise.The host Jonathan was very thoughtful and welcoming and easily accessible with information and recommendations. We just completed an entirely fantastic visit to this beautiful bungalow. We stayed for a little over 2 months and our hosts were absolutely wonderful. This home has everything and then some. Every time we turned around we discovered another extra feature. Communication, location, and cleanliness were all excellent features. We thoroughly loved our stay.

A stay we’ll remember for the rest of our lives! Lived here for 4 months during a home renovation, and the hosts made us feel so comfortable that it was almost hard to move home! Everything was premium and top notch, from the sheets to the back patio. A must pick for long stays!

Jonathan is super attentive and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect (and that my dogs had all they needed too!). The house is charming with up-to-date technology and great amenities like various outdoor seating areas, a really nice grill, and a well-stocked supplies.I've run across 2 types of VRBO properties--some are designated as rentals in high-tourist areas, and they're slickly decorated and managed by a company. Others feel like you're stepping in someone's home, with more eclectic touches and authentic charm--this is the latter, so you may be trading off on more modern features like huge closets and bathrooms. However, the Heights location cannot be beat, with its residents that embody Texas friendliness and its small-town charm. Kick your feet up on the porch swing and watch the world go by from this charming bungalow with a neighboorhood feel. Jonathan will make sure everything is taken care of exactly to your liking.
