Well located property, a short walk to both Windermere and Bowness. Very hospitable hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Room clean and well presented. Breakfast excellent. Would definitely stay again when next visiting the area.

The property stands in the perfect location between Windermere & Bowness, both a short walk away.The interior was immaculate,as we're the rooms,the breakfast was ordered the evening before , freshly cooked & very well presented there was a fantastic choice. The Owners June & Mark were really nice people very friendly took an interest in all the guests & were always available if you needed a y help or advise. I can honestly say that the Thornbank is by a Country Mile the best B&B we have ever stayed in..
