Mati Hotel

The two best things about this hotel are the staff and the restaurant! Joanna at the reception was so lovely and helpful, everyone really. The hotel restaurant is GREAT! The fish fillet I had there was one of the best in Greece.

Keep in mind this is relatively speaking a budget hotel, the downsides were that the walls were quite thin and the other guests (families mainly) were making noise in the hall which you could hear in the room, but this was also August so it's probably much better at other times.

Room service after long day, provided taxi service to airport.

No issues

Good location: on the seashore, close to airport. The room is a good size, clean with comfortable bed. We got an upgraded room with a stunning sea view from the balcony. The reception staff was very pleasant.

At the reception desk upon check-in, we were given a card with a discount for the hotel restaurant. We came to the restaurant: firstly, all the dishes in the menu were quite expensive, but we decided to eat anyway. Secondly and most importantly, we sat about 20 minutes and no one approached us, despite the fact that the restaurant was not full of people. In the end, we left. Apparently, for a hotel restaurant, customers are not importance at all. It was a little disappoint with the the hotel parking lot: a larger parking lot would be located about 200 meters away. It was possible to park close to the entrance, but someone parked so close that early in the morning we could hardly leave the parking lot.

Outdoor area and pool, friendly staff

The room is in need of renovation and was not that clean (rubbish left on the terrace), not worthy of a 4 star hotel
