As always,v comfortable, pretty and clean rooms. The situation was excellent and I really enjoyed my room at AR Penzance.

Management on high are obvs cutting back on staff. Most of them are chasing their tails in the hotel trying to help and doing their jobs. Restaurant was closed in the evening for most of my stay(Mon til Sat morning) as were others in the town-strange in early September. It was hard to get service at the bar,or make inquiries as there were so few folk covering the whole property. I don't like leaving criticism,but have been prompted on many occasions to write feedback. The girls/women and the quieter young man who work there really earn their keep. Have stayed a few times before in September and expected more.

the cottage was cozy, very well styled. The bathroom with the copper bath and separate shower was perfect. Beds very comfi. Can only recommend. Restaurant very good.

Fun location, Penzance fascinating place

Very average, I thought the brand was up market, a very nice average bed & breakfast, but breakfast not inc the price and a packet of crisps is £5 !!
