Friendly staff, good location and beautifully renovated suite. The food was also well prepared and fittingly fine dining, except for the occasional missed ingredient. The suite was newly renovated and kept clean with a comfortable bed. It is a beautiful hotel with an impressive whiskey and wine collection.

Nothing tranquil about this place. Whether you are in the whiskey lounge or trying to enjoy a peaceful lunch in the restaurant - music gets blasted loudly. Ironically the terms and conditions that you sign as a guest prohibits loud music. And forget about any sort of discretion with restaurant guests, and what seem to be party goers, content scouting with their phones. Standard food orders off their menu come to you without the items on the menu. No bath soap or soap holder for the bath. A 5 Star facility must prioritise attention to detail and a level of decorum befitting such a gorgeous establishment.

We had booked for the wrong day and the staff went to great trouble to accomodate us, nonetheless. Nonto carried our luggage upstairs for us and the waitron who served us was helpful and informative. Good food.

The wine, whilst good, is not inexpensive.

Clean, up market

Hosting a noisy group who left at 17.30 thank goodness.
