Super friendly staff. Nice clean rooms. Refreshing pool. Perfectly located in central Jakarta.

Very professional service. Everyone was polite and was willing to help and make sure our stay was comfortable. The room was very clean and spacious.

The bathroom has little air ventilation, and seems like there is no bathroom ceiling fan. Whenever I shower or use the toilet, the air lingers for a while.

I expected more overall from a 4-star [I believe] hotel; I noted above that the hotel met my expectations but this is really only partly so. The pool is very small [but open until 9 p.m., which is good]. We had the buffet breakfast 3 days running and although choices were there, overall it felt a bit cheap and more like a 3-star level. We also dined there on our first night & my lamb curry was so fatty as to be inedible [and indeed it was removed from the bill at the staff's suggestion, without any fuss]. This is a family hotel and so expect children; having said that, the clientele during out stay [September] seemed to be mostly local, and certainly local children are a lot better-behaved than one might expect in the West.
