The comfiest beds and the best breakfasts

The showers can be a little cramped but that would be the only thing.

8 / 10Excellent·oct. 2026

Breakfast was very good. The room was very nice , the bathroom in particular was lovely.

We felt the room/facilities were overpriced for one night. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and with it being a hotel, thought we might be able to at least order a sandwich in the evening but there was no food available.

Helpful staff. Nicely renovated. Good breakfast.

The road outside was a bit noisy during the night, and the fire door outside my room was noisy when people let it bang shut.

5 / 10·juill. 2026

Breakfast was good choices and relaxed. Pleasant dining room. Great granolas. Mushrooms delicious. Freshly cooked to order. Coffee could be improved. Staff are very friendly and helpful - excellent. Good outside areas for drinks and relaxing. Coffee in the evening was good.

For dinner, the fish and chips were disappointing and the ravioli was a bit tough. Room was small and cluttered, while the bed was comfortable. The shower was in the bath, so difficult for my wife to get in and out.
