Casa Cardinali

The location is fabulous. It is a 3 minute walk to the center of Pienza. Veronica is amazing and so helpful. The room is very clean and spacious. The kitchen (shared space) is well stocked and I had my breakfasts and lunches there. Veronica answers immediately and helped with making dinner reservations (and even mending my pants when I asked if there was a seamstress close by). I was on my own for two nights so the apartment was fabulous. Another room checked in while I was there but was totally workable. Polite hello etc.

There is a construction site right beside the building so that is your view and they did start working at 7:00 am but I am an early riser, so wasn't a big deal. Also, the air conditioning in the room isn't super strong so you need to close the shutters to keep it cool which darkens the room a bit but you don't spend much time in the room, so it works out.
