Delightful staff very friendly and helpful. The room was enormous with a separate seating area. Breakfast was great and coffee and cakes were available through the day. On an easy bus route into the centre. Nice Portuguese restaurant almost next door. Beautiful gardens opposite to walk through.
A bit of a walk into the centre although there was a bus stop opposite the hotel.

I was in the Garden House and I loved the space. Everything, from the bed to the cute table and chair outside on the patio, were perfect. I would definitely stay there again. Very friendly, helpful, and dedicated staff!

I loved how peaceful the hotel felt, coming from the busy town. No music in the lobby, just quiet. The staff was very kind. I did hear some other guests coming home at night, but that's why I bring earplugs. The room was cozy and comfortable. The location is great, right opposite the park and within walking distance from the historic city center (though you do have to climb up on the way back!). The hotel is in a district with lots of galleries. Several small restaurants are nearby.
The bathroom wasn't super clean (it seems like they've forgotten to clean the door for a while and there were a few hairs on the floor).
