Sun and Sea Plus Resort

Very comfortable bed, and quite a good cleaning staff. Also, the property is quiet and well maintained in terms of furniture, the pools and the rooms.

There is no laundry service (which is a problem when you stay for more than a couple of days). Also, we requested mosquito repellent, because they were very annoying, we didn't get any. The air conditioning worked for 2 days only out of 9, and we got no explanation for that either. The kitchen has mediocre equipment, not even a toaster for example. All in all, a bit of a let down experience, for a more than costly price, considering we are talking about a 4 star property. We were tempted to checkout earlier, but in the end we stayed because of the silence and the very comfortable bed.

The breakfast was very good and varied. Only thing would say that because you were served at the table you were brought everything at ones (hint to the future clients- order one thing at the time). But the service otherwise was excellent!

Liked all of our stay albeit our very noisy neighbours not so much in our executive superior room that took over the private pool area. Not fault of the hotel though.

The place was quiet with wonderful views. Very good breakfasts but paid extra for these. Everything was clean and well maintained. Bathrobes and slippers a welcome surprise. Staff friendly and helpful the pool was spotless but sadly couldn’t use it as we were there when Crete had hideous weather wind and rain for a whole week.

Absolutely nothing it was perfect!

The room/studio was large and the kitchen was very well equipped. The swimming pool was lovely, especially as there was direct access to it from the private terrace. The staff were always willing to help my friend down the many stairs to her room. (She has difficulty with stairs and unfortunately we were given no indication that there were 3 flights down to the rooms we had booked.)

Anyone with mobility issues will really struggle at this hotel! There is no indication at all that most of the rooms are accessible only by (in some cases - many) stairs and there is no information about which rooms are on the level. It was particularly difficult getting to our rooms when it was raining and the stairs, being outside, were wet and slippery. We were told that we should have sent a message to the hotel about our accessibility needs - but how would we have known when that is not the way it normally works! We would expect it to be made clear on all room descriptions what is involved in getting to them. Normally a hotel with stairs and no lift (to most rooms) makes that clear. There are a number of misleading descriptions on the hotel's website. There is no bar, as claimed - although soft drinks and beer can be bought via reception. There is no room service (or wasn't when we were there) even though there is a menu in each room. There is no food other than breakfast, although there is an a la carte menu on the website. The hotel stopped serving dinner a few years ago apparently.
