Hotel Ta' Cenc & Spa

We both loved the Spa area, as well as having the choice of outside pools. A quiet and relaxing haven. It was also my partner's birthday and the staff went out of their way to dress the room with balloons etc. Thank you.

The architecture, the sitting room with its beautiful blue and white upholstery and the large stone fireplace were lovely, although we didn’t spend much time there. Four days at the hotel were perfect.

The huge portions at dinner and too much ground pepper. However, large portions in Malta are the norm.

Trullo house where we stayed is really nice and spacious. We also really liked that the area is quiet and you sleep like a baby. Even the late night fireworks (due to festivities around the island) did not bother! But the REAL HIGHLIGHT of our stay were the days spent in Kantra lido: that's where you truly enjoy crystal clear sea, amazing view and fresh fish made in the sea side restaurant. So, I advise everyone staying in Ta Cenc - dont waste time by the pool and go to Katra - you will not be dissapointed (although in order to access the sea you need to go down and then uo vby stairs)

Bathroom needs renovation - I also suggest removing that useless jaccuzzi and install a proper shower stall with good shower system.

Uncomfortable beds Rooms very dated. Same as 40 years ago Not great food and expensive Private beach is terrible Help yourself to an umbrella and difficult to find places to sit Long walk from main hotel. Need a car. The minibus will take you at midday by that time all the space have gone. Very scruffy. It only comes back at 4pm Overcrowded by pool. All beds bagged with towels by 8am quite often We saw RATS outside our room
