Ging View Villa

One of our most memorable stays in Sri Lanka. The couple running the place are so kind and friendly. We booked all their rooms as we were a group of 16 celebrating 2 birthdays. They contacted us in advance to see if we have any requirements and they also got us a nice birthday cake and flowers when we arrived. The rooms are nice and spacious and in different levels. The pool is well kept and clean. We had a lovely home cooked breakfast every morning. The couple even let us have a birthday party in the common dining area with all our family visiting from different parts of the world. They have a tuk tuk available to take guests around. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the villa and the city and markets are about a 20 min walk. Beach is 5 minutes away just across the street.

It was one of the best stays we have had in Sri Lanka. Comfortable, and clean. Staff and owners were first class, and breakfast was wonderful (fruit was all from their own garden) and the pool was perfect Thank you all for making our stay unforgettable

Nothing

Absolutely loved my stay here, staff were extremely accommodating and breakfast was delicious in the morning. There’s an amazing pool and I was the only one Every-time I went for a swim, felt like I had the place to myself. On my last day I was able to leave my luggage for hours while I swam until I was ready to leave to the next place. Shower and bathroom is really nice also, big bed and comfy. Would stay again and recommend.

Location was perfect for me but it’s slightly out of the centre, so that’s up to preference.

Nice modern clean room , owner gaya was helpful

So much water on driveway from rain ,some days couldn't leave property, ,driveway needs fixing so not blocked for guests , lack of television was an issue , I like my television , smart tv was useless , they tried to fix it but couldn't , for most of my stay I had no television . Also I meant to ask for receipt , I forgot ,was not issued with a receipt ,was charged marginally more than booking.com final amount .
