Vida Mountain Resort & Spa Adults Only

Absolutely stunning views and grounds. We ended a 2 week vacation in Bocas del Toro, Panama and decided to fly out of Costa Rica. The drive up the mountain was provided by a safe and professional driver which was a plus. The chef prepared delicious meals and we were served a special meal in the tea room for our 30th anniversary. The rooms are comfortable but the views were our favorite part. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool and Jacuzzi.

Pedimos spa y aunque somos los únicos clientes la masajista no estaba disponible para el día aunque lo solicitamos en la mañana para la tarde-noche y pretendía escoger a ella el día y horario del masaje.

The pool, attentive hostess staff-Bernicia, grounds keeper- Hilbert, transportation contractor- Roger and Martin, food mostly, yoga building, scenery. Massage requests are contingent upon the availability of a contracted local masseuse. Massage was very relaxing!

My room was not freshened up prior to my arrival. Dead bugs had to be cleaned up from floor and walls. Removed 2 baby geckos above my head before falling asleep the 1st night. Walkways and retainer walls need power washing. Yoga room, needs dust mopping before guest arrive and yoga blankets needs cleaning and proper storage to maintain freshness for guest. Lounge chairs the same. Areas that are sheltered from the weather needs routine treatment for crawling bugs, ants, spiders and flying insects with a non toxic deterrent. This information was shared with the mod. Know before you go..how far away activities are. Transportation can be costly! Also, after 1 glass of my favorite wine, they ran out and did not accommodate with purchasing more for their stock. The weather prevented me from fully enjoying the pool, so be mindful of the temperature and time if year. Lastly, the jacuzzi needs upgrading (inoperable for 80% of my time there)and the sauna should be checked for geckos before inviting guest to enter for a relaxing experience. The chefs were "ghosts". Never came out to introduce themselves even after I requested to meet them. Communication was challenging with staff, a lot of translation app and google use.
