Hotel Guru

Hotel Guru is conveniently located on a quiet side road just a couple of minutes from the main Lakeside drag. It’s a small family-run business and they’ll do everything to make your stay easy and comfortable, including airport drop offs. The included simple breakfast can be served inside or in the garden. I had a spacious room on the top floor with nice views.

Less than a 5-minute walk from the main commercial street of Pokhara, and just 5 minutes to the lakeside area in the southeast, the location is quite convenient. Mr. Guru, the owner, is warm and hospitable, enjoys chatting, and often greets guests to understand their needs. With years of experience as a trekking guide, he's always ready to answer questions and provide helpful solutions. His son served as our driver and tour guide to the Sarangkot viewpoint. The rooftop terrace at the hotel offers stunning views of the snow-capped mountains on clear days. The rooms are clean and tidy, with spacious, comfortable beds and all necessary amenities including air conditioning. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Additionally, Mrs. Guru’s breakfast is delicious—so much so that we ended up eating too much every morning.😄

This property is excellent on every level. I booked for 2 nights and stayed for 6. Was incredibly comfortable and creative here. Quality linens, soft comfortable bed, AC, airy and very clean. Room had good balcony and quality chair to contemplate the mountains. Pretty quiet. The host family are amazing with their guests. Breakfast quick and delicious. I felt very welcome and positive staying in the rooms. Room on 4th floor so there are stairs to climb (no lift, as typical for area) but not overwhelming. I stayed in other Pokhara properties and this one is the best by far!!

One room 103 was not having mirror in the room . TVs were not functional.
