Rural house with heated pool and large garden. Relax and nature.
Située en plein cœur de l’Espace Naturel Protégé de Pino Santo, au centre de l’ île, et plus précisément aux alentours du village de La Milagrosa, où l’on peut apprécier une grande variété de couleurs intenses: plantes, terres aux cultures locales et où l’on peut admirer des panoramas surprenants, en toute tranquillité.
L’habitation, construite au début du XXème siècle et restaurée en 1997, représente fidèlement l’architecture locale rurale de cette période. En L, elle invite à découvrir les éléments architecturaux, aujourd’hui devenus rares, typiques de la campagne des Canaries: ses larges murs de pierres et torchis, ses toits de bois à deux pentes, ses vastes chambres confortables distribuées autour d’une terrasse couverte orientée au sud, ont conservé le charme d(‘antan, nous dévoilant un mode de vie où l’harmonie avec le milieu naturel était une condition nécessaire pour vivre dans cet environnement rural.
De plus, la région comporte de nombreux chemins et sentiers , à parcourir à pied, en vélo…qui relient les différents villages ou lieux d’intérêt : paysager, naturel, ornithologique, etc.

Our stay (2 adults and three kids (0, 2, 8) was simply amazing, so where to begin.
The house is located in an oasis of calm and beautiful mountain surrroundings. You can literally hear a dog bark 3 valleys away and can honestly not remember the last time we experienced a calm like that. It was an experience in itself- amazing. It was honestly a big part og taking the whole vacation into a more mellow gear.
The house itself is the perfect combination of the charming spanish style, but with everything modern you need (as a famliy with kids). The design, decoration and inventory all makes you feel like you ARE in Spain, while the internet, dishwasher, tv (with streaming services available), makes for the perfect aid in a hectic family.
The crown jewel of the house is the outdoor area and the way the pool and house is connected, making everyone able to relax and/or play at the same time. Also we had amazing dinners outside overlooking the mountains and Las Palmas.
Eva the owner, replies to messages with extreme speed and was forthcoming at every single question we had.
To emphasize and sum it up I had a feeling that this house would carry some charm, warmth and romantic vibe, so I brought a ring. It took me 1 hour to find the perfect spot after we arrived and since this place is where I proposed to my future wife, it will forever be locked in my memory as an amazing experience.
With a house like this, I will never choose a hotel again.

We had a great week staying here. It's very rural with some tight narrow roads to gain access, but worth the effort.
Beautiful views across the valley. Property is not overlooked and you can just enjoy the peace of the countryside.
Great outdoors area with super comfy sofa's and a outdoor dining table. Pool was large and plenty big enough for the 4 of us to muck around in. Huge garden area too.
WiFi streaming speeds were genuinely impressive for such a rural location. Easy to use smart TV when the kids needed a 30 min relax.
It was quite hot in the evening inside the villa, but we were staying in August in very hot +30 conditions. You could leave windows open to get a breeze as all had fly screens on them.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week and loved exploring the north of the island.

Hemos pasado unos días en familia (con perro incluído) geniales. La casa está muy completa, acogedora y el entorno precioso... Muy recomendable. La anfitriona estuvo pendiente de cualquier cosa que pudiésemos necesitar. Repetiremos sin duda.
