It was a nice little hotel room in an old building. It is close to a ferry stop and not a terribly long walk from anything else in Venice. The staff was very helpful when we had questions about how to get back to the train station and heped us figure out how to get there. Free breakfast vouchers were a nice touch.
It is a bit dated, but to be expected in an old building and city like this.

My friend and I stayed at Cá Valeri for 3 nights and were absolutely delighted. The Venetian-style room was lovely, the location was perfect, and above all, the wonderful host, Veronica, showed incredible care. She helped us book hard-to-reach locations and gave excellent recommendations for authentic restaurants, cafes, and walking spots. We would gladly return here again!

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location for the Venice Biennale, bathroom was large and bright.
Never received fresh towels (stayed 3 nights, four days), one day we didn't receive a refill on coffee and somehow (without us ever opening a window) the room constantly had a lot mosquitoes - I started to wonder if they were coming in through an airlock. For the price, which was a lot, given the location and timing of the Biennale, it was quite lacking.
