The view from the room on to the station forecourt which was like watching a moving Lowry painting .
Access to, and frequency of trams and buses nearby.
Manor dept store food section - to die for.
Ease of finding hotel- can be seen from the station.
Air con a bit noisy

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable bed. If the weather had not been incredibly hot, it would have been a fine room. I paid a lot more to stay at the Suisse, but it was a very basic hotel.
A/C was a joke. I know there's a heatwave going on but the temperature never dropped below 75°f. The room was hot and stuffy, and it didn't help that there was no vent in the bathroom, so it was humid even after cool showers.
