the b ikebukuro

Close to a main station

The mattress was a little uncomfortable..very hard to lay on and the whole space is a bit cramped for a family of 5. Staff were good considering we checked in at 1:30am. The location is very easy to get to close to a main shopping centre

The location and staff was friendly

The bed was hard and the breakfast was okay

Son emplacement à proximité de la gare, pratique pour se déplacer dans Tokyo La disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel Le quartier, Ikebukuro est vivant et tout est à proximité au niveau magasin

- location - big rooms

We were disappointed with the customer service during our stay. We had specifically requested a quieter room away from the street side in advance, but the request was not accommodated and we were assigned a corner room facing the street. When we asked about this politely at the front desk (dark-skinned non-japanese female staff), the interaction became uncomfortable and that employee responded with: “This is not China, but Japan.” We found this comment inappropriate and unnecessary. The hotel itself may be acceptable, but the way our concerns were handled left a negative impression.
