The location is great. Close to Rembrandt Square & connecting transport such as trams and canal boats etc. In the old centre so surrounded by canals and plenty of things in walking distance. The staff were great. We were allocated the wrong room on the first night but the hotel made up for it, moving us to a much larger room on the 3rd floor in the attic space which was very good.
As a warning to others, it has no lift with a steeper winding staircase but the staff were very helpful taking cases & bags up & down for us as required. Just go slowly and hold the handrail.

Beautiful clean rooms, very comfortable. Had air conditioning in the room and a great shower.
Staff lovely and helpful and let us check in early with no extra charge.
Great location near a large strip of pubs, bars and restaurants. 10 minute walk to the metro and tram station.

They have been recently renovated and everything is relatively new. The location is also very central, there’s rental bikes right opposite, which you can rent with just an app. There are also a lot of different restaurant, cafes, grocery stores nearby.
The metro is about 7mins walk away so I wouldn’t say it’s exactly the nearest. When I arrived there were used, opened soap bar left in the bathroom.
