Mystery Skiathos Luxury Residence

Property was very posh. We ate an absolutely delicious dinner meal made to order! Property manager / Christina ? Brought out a traditional dessert for us to try, which was a biscotti type with chocolate syrup. Breakfast was also made to order from selections you made the night before. We could only stay one nite as we had to travel to US in the early am. Our host had a company van and we made arrangements for her to drive us vs an uber. Everything and everyone we interacted with were very polite and professional. Worth the climb!

Google gave a very uphill hard climb to the property when we could have had a much easier time. Unfortunately the pool closed early and opened late so we missed it, but the other amenities were top notch.

Location and friendly service. Breakfast had all the basics of eggs, bacon, omelets, pastries, coffees and various Greek savouries and sweets. Cereals, yogurt. Transfers to and from airport as an optional extra was an excellent service. Daily housekeeping.

2 bedroom loft is not child friendly. Stairs do not meet Australian Standards. A young child can fall through railings. We had to block stairwell with portacot and suitcases to limit access. Bedroom upstairs was loft so you had to watch your head near wall where redhead was... no upstairs toilet. Wished breakfast started earlier than 830am

-The private hot tub was excellent after a stormy ferry ride to the island. -The room was clean and modern, the automated blinds were a nice touch. -Room was a good size, plenty of rooms for 2 full size suitcases. -Solid Wifi -Shower was a good size with good pressure and hot water -Breakfast had a decent selection

-The shower seals need to be looked at because the bathroom floor got very wet when showering -Given we had a private hot tub on the balcony we would have liked either some more towels or bath robes Having said this we were only there for 1 night as we transited through so neither issue was enough for us to raise with staff Can't speak on the pool/ other facilities because it was raining while we were there and didn't get to use them

We stayed at Mystery Skiathos for three nights in early September. It is a beautiful hotel. We were able to walk to town and it is near bus stop 3.

We booked a room on the top floor and no one could help us take our luggage up the steps. We were told the employee was too tiny. Our luggage was European carryon size and one larger bag. We had four people and had to ask for more towels as they only gave us two. Our room was a suite with two bathrooms. Additionally, there weren’t any extra towels for the hot tub on the rooftop we had. They did give us four towels the following day. The first morning, a Saturday, breakfast buffet was wonderful. Full of croissants, cheeses, fruit. The second morning we asked for croissants as the basketball was empty and were told they didn’t have any. Breakfast is from 8-11 and this was around 9:45. By Monday morning, the buffet was very minimal. Thankfully they do have a menu to order from and the food was good.
