The Morecambe Hotel

We were welcomed by Carolina who was superb and very helpful and efficient. our room was perfect, warm and comfortable. Dinner was very good.

Although the service and food at breakfast was good, we did not get what we asked for. We did not complain at the time because we had to be on our way, This was the only black mark on our stay.

Very well kept, really lovely staff and comfy bed!

I liked the space provided in the suite I booked and that I could regulate my own temperature for the room.

Bathroom: door did not close properly easily rectified with easing of the bottom of the door. Floor of bathroom not clean, I saw some white fluff around the edge of the floor and wiped it with a baby wipe - baby wipe was black. Tried also other areas of floor which were not clean. Most urgent and important is that there is no grab rail on the wall inside the bath - very dangerous trying to negotiate a shower and trying to get out - you need this installing on all your showers - my friend couldn't use his 'wet room' shower as nothing to hold onto. Cleaning overall of room and hotel not really up to standard.
