Tout était parfait, au delà de nos rêves. Claudio est un hote généreux et bienveillant. Il est venu nous accueillir au port et nous a conduits dans cet endroit qui porte si bien son nom: villa Paradiso! Quelle vue inouïe depuis la grande terrasse: plongeante sur la mer et les îles autour de nous. Le logement est vaste et super bien aménagé. Tout est propre et beau. Jamais on ne s’est senti aussi bien! Un immense merci à Claudio!

The apartment is spacious and is really in a stunning location with amazing views of Lipari, Vulcano and the sea. It was easy to get around the island with a supermarket, restaurants and bus stop nearby. Claudio was a fantastic host and was very approachable and attentive when we had questions

Vila Paradiso is a real paradise. When we arrived at Lipari, Marcello picked us up from the harbour. He told us where we should eat (f.e. Ristorante Le Macine - you can eat there handmade pasta and drink local beer), what to see and where to go. He was very helpfull and kind. We borrowed a scooter from him, which made exploring the island much easier. And About the view from the terrace..BREATHTAKING!!! When you want to relax - you just go outside and lie in a hammock. I’m sure we’ll comeback back there one day. This place is definitely worth it! Marcello - thank you and see you soon!!!

Generally speaking, I think it's a true wonder of Lipari island. In the way that it's perfectly located : very near from the city center but distant enough to profit from a calm and serene environment. The view is breathtaking and mesmerising. Also from the room the view is wonderful. There is A/C in the room which is a NEED during summer holidays. You have everything you need to cook so if you want to balance between restaurants and home-made meals it's perfect. The closest restaurant is Le Macine and is quite delicious as well. The decoration of the room really gives it a soul and makes it much more agreeable than the soulless white and grey hotel rooms.

We believe the comfort of your stay also depends on your relationship with the host. When we arrived he was at first very nice to us, came pick us up at the port, told us everything we should know about the island...At that point he told us taxis were 40€ to go to the Villa. However, we encountered an issue when trying to rent a vehicle on the island, and the host played a significant role in that situation. As we were both less than 21, it is almost impossible to rent a vehicle on the island. After some afterthoughts, the host offered us to rent his e-bikes, which we agreed on I accepted in the evening to take the bikes for the next morning. The host announced his arrival at 10:30 and arrived at 11:30. Wasting precious hours of our holidays. After he arrived late, he brought us his bikes and started explaining how they worked. While we were nodding in sign of understanding, he screamed at me saying that I was not concentrated enough and that these bikes were a very big deal. The bikes were 25 a day. So 50 for 2. While leaving with the bikes, he shouts the price at me saying it'll be 50 for the day and we should get back at 7pm. At that point it was almost 1pm. So I turn to him and ask if there is a discount considering that it's already more than midday. Immediately afterwards, he shouts and tell us that we're impolite. He orders me to give the bikes back, almost taking it from me as I'm still on it. Arguing that we're dishonest, that if we want to play it like that he does not want to help us....As I'm trying to explain myself, he looks at me and says "YOU CREATED THIS SITUATION YOURSELF". I beg your pardon ? I was left speechless to the hatred in his words. He called us dishonest, eager and selfish. For the rest of the stay we sensed a lot of resentment in his voice and we tried to avoid him as much as he did. Right before leaving, we discovered taxis were not 40 but 10 euros.
