It was well renovated and in a quiet location. The host was very accommodating, and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine.

Internet speed was slow for upload.

The location of the apartment is superb. It is slightly out of town but very walkable. The view across the harbour is stunning.

The stairs to the rooms are steep. You would struggle if mobility was an issue. Also the blue star ferry docks nearby at 5am 3 times a week. It did not bother us at all but other night

The ground floor apartment was well equipped and clean. The property managers were friendly and helpful offering luggage storage at their offices on departure. We liked the inclusion of washing machine and powder to refresh our wardrobe when travelling light. The location on the waterfront and away from the bustle of the main harbourside bars and restaurants suited us oldies. Previous reviews indicated the activity on the road in front of the property when the larger ferries come and go as well as the exposed sitting out area but this did not bother us as we spent most of the days exploring. It was not an overly long walk from the property to either the harbour or up the hill to explore the older part of town above

Minor issues to be aware of - the stairs to the mezzanine bed level above the kitchen and toilet at ground level are more ladder like than conventional stairs so those less agile, particularly on the descent, should probably look elsewhere. Whilst the big ferries dock just along the quay from the apartment, the smaller ferries come in to the clock tower on the other side of the bay - it becomes a long hike around the bay with bags so you might need to think about a taxi unless comfortable for a 1.5km walk much of which is in the sun

Only 3 apartments managed by a local handling company with communication difficulties. Nice house poorly and cheaply restructured. From the bedroom to the toilet you need to go down steep steps, go across a small courtyard in a different building and climb steps.
