Modern Sultan Hotel

The location is perfect. Near main historical sites, well connected with public transportation. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Tea and coffee available all day long. Just the perfect place to stay while in Istanbul. It was my second time in the city and I chose to come back here for a reason!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent — just a short walk from Hagia Sophia. The front desk service was outstanding, and thanks to Fatih, I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. The rooms are small, but very cozy and, thanks to Elena, exceptionally clean. The breakfast was also very good. Another thing that was especially important and convenient for me was the hotel shuttle service at a very reasonable price. It made my transportation so much easier. Thank you, Fatih, and thank you, Elena, for making my stay so pleasant and comfortable.

Amazing staff! Fatih was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the main attractions. I had no issues with noise at - the windows did a great job blocking outside sounds, including the calls to prayer from the nearby mosque. Wi-Fi was reliable, bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. The room was small, but perfectly adequate for a solo traveler. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

· Friendly and accommodating staff (they were very helpful with arranging our transfer from the airport – thank you very much) · Opportunity to have tea in the kitchen in the evening · Central location, close to sights · Umbrellas available for rainy weather

· No elevator – you have to carry your suitcases up to the 5th floor via a steep spiral staircase · The room lacks: chairs, disposable slippers, the air conditioner remote control, a kettle, and tea. No bottled drinking water provided · Old furniture and rusty plumbing · Dim lighting, lumpy pillows · Cleaning wasn’t done even upon request · Someone secretly smokes somewhere in the hotel – the smell of tobacco seeps through the walls · Smells of fried food from a neighboring café, loud music plays half the night, customers shout · At night, a garbage truck rattles and beeps in the area
