Amazing view of Sveti Stefan; nice balcony and rooftop terrace

Breakfast was not great; terrible coffee; mattress old and you could feel the springs; loud as corridors echo

I love staying in this place. This is the third time I stayed there. Everything is great. View from my suite and from the restaurant is amazing. Breakfast is great. Their chef is excellent and they serve lunch and dinner as well. Hotel room/bathroom and facilities are very clean. Host Senka and her staff are exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Can't think of anything I did not like.

Hotel Adrović is a fantastic boutique hotel with stunning views of Sveti Stefan. The staff were friendly and helpful. One staff member in particular went out of his way to prepare me pancakes for breakfast exactly how I like them which I appreciated immensely! The hotel has its own dedicated parking area right outside that is overseen by a parking attendant. There were always free spots available during our stay in September. The walk down to the beach involves quite a lot of steps but was not too bad for a couple in their forties. We were very happy we chose this hotel for our stay in Montenegro.

Our room was on the highest floor of the hotel which was great for the view from our balcony, but the restaurant was directly above us. This made for quite a bit of noise during dinner and breakfast times. However, generally it was quiet between 11:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., so it wasn't too bad for our schedule.

We stayed at Hotel Adrovic in Sveti Stefan, and while there were a few positives, overall we sadly did not have a great experience and would not feel comfortable recommending the hotel. To start with what we did like: the staff were genuinely lovely, friendly, helpful, and clearly doing their best. The views from the hotel are absolutely unbelievable, and the location is convenient, with a bus stop right next to the property and the beach only a short walk away. It was not an issue for us, but it is worth noting that the hotel sits on a hill and there is no lift, so you should expect a lot of stairs both inside the hotel and on the way down to the beach.

Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. The hotel is completely run down and in serious need of renovation. We booked a room with a garden view, located at the bottom of the hotel, and when we checked in we were met with a strong sewage smell that made the room unbearable. The hair dryer also didn’t work. We were moved to another room straight away, which was more spacious and thankfully didn’t have the smell, but even there many things were broken: a lamp, the wardrobe, and other small details that really add up. We also didn’t find the breakfast good at all. While we could see that the staff were trying their best, the overall condition of the hotel made the stay disappointing. We are well travelled and have stayed in hostels that were far better maintained than this. This place has potential thanks to its location and wonderful staff, but it urgently needs a full makeover before we could recommend it to anyone.
