It’s character, charm and the grounds it was set in. It had ample parking and its location was good, only being 30 minutes from Le Shuttle. The food in the restaurant was lovely, service was great and good value. Just remember you need to book a dinner reservation before you arrive. The staff were helpful and friendly. I am sure the access to the pool would have been good, but we didn’t use it. We were only there for one night.
It was a bit tired and an upgrade would be beneficial on such a beautiful building. The shower was warm but the pressure was not great.

Just superb. The restaurant dinner was beautiful. The best entrée I've ever tasted it used red kuri squash. Wonderful. Really good breakfast. Our room was perfect. The whole hotel was very tastefully decorated. Loved the atmosphere

Good breakfast, helpful staff, convenient location.
Comfort room was quite small and basic but OK. No air conditioning in room so we needed the windows open and before 7am guests dogs were barking in the grounds! The pools a nice size but the changing facilities are ridiculous, only 1 shower was working and the water in the shower was cold. Unimaginative and limited menu in the restaurant, no white meat on the menu and 1 fish dish, not the 7 course taster as had previously! Just be aware that dogs are allowed in the restaurant
