Excellent and very responsive communication from Daniela over our whole stay. Great little apartment in the very heart of the tourist area, with a minutes walk to the popular look out area across the amazing Sassi region. Accommodation had everything we needed and was secure, clean and comfortable.
Nothing, it was perfect

Very clear directions given by owner. Also, complimentary drinks and food were appreciated
Need to carry bags up steps from taxi drop-off.

Il Geco was in a fantastic location in the beautiful old city of Matera. The location is the highlight of this property.
The photos show a terrace where we were hoping to sit and watch the town light up however the photos were not true to the reality. However as stated, the location is everything!

The property was easily accessible and had fabulous views of the city and the canyon. The bed was very comfortable as well.
