Staff were really welcoming and helpful. The room was cosy and bed was so snuggly, excellent bedding. Glitch with TV was quickly sorted by staff. Nice atmosphere in the pub/restaurant. Excellent location for a visit to Kingston Lacy.
The room overlooks the busy roundabout as you enter the town, so I used the ear plugs provided (two sets would be better as there were two occupants). Food was OK, I had steak pie which was tasty but the meat was chewy (not cooked long enough to tenderise), my other half had a very good schnitzel so no complaints from him. None of this ruined our stay and I would stay again.

It was ideally situated close to the centre of Wimborne and very close to the venue of a party we were attending. Beds were comfortable. Staff were pleasant.
No hot water when we went to use the shower in the morning. Elements of the room were quite dusty and there was a badly cracked floor tile in the bathroom. The washbasin had a lot of orange coloured limescale around the plug area & one tap was dripping badly.
