Be My Guest Athens

The hotel was really clean and comfortable, and in a good location. The room was well sized, and the complimentary snacks and drinks were much appreciated. The rooftop garden was lovely and quiet to eat breakfast in. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast range was quite limited and disappointing. The only fruit provided each day was melon, and there was no coffee machine. The scrambled eggs were rubbery, and were in the same container as the bacon, which is not good for contamination and for people who don't eat meat.

Location is great, and the staff were very helpful.

We were in an apartment across the street from the hotel, it was not setup to the same standard as the rooms in the main building, and felt 'tired' ... there was a full kitchen, but no dishwasher liquid or teatowels to clean the dishes, the chips and plates were not properly clean from the previous guests so I has the clean them. The hot water was unusual, .... you have to push a button to turn the boiler on, wait 30-40 minutes and then have your shower... and they warn "make sure you turn the boiler off before showering in case you get an electric shock" not what I expect from a HOTEL. The beds were clean and comfortable, the room was good, but parts of ther overall experience was no up to standard.

The location is excellent, especially for walking to the city center. The apartment is also clean and comfortable.

Comfortable bed Security good

Bathroom musty smelling Receptionist - inappropriately dressed as front line person. Receptionist didn’t take any of my details as we were with others. This resulted me receiving a ‘no show’ email!!
