Checkout time 10 AM rather than more convenient and normal 11 AM At registration the reception asks you to check 4 boxes explaining that they are for "registration process", but the latter two are just to send you advertising and to supply your name to other advertisers The room walls were so thin I could hear details of normal conversations in the next room. Supplied glasses in room were the cheapest kind of little plastic cups. The finish on the hard room wooden floor was often scuffed off. The lone TINY elevator was TOTALLY inadequate and inconvenient for a hotel this size - resulting in delays and dangerous overcrowding MY ROOM WAS THE SMALLEST I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN A LIFETIME OF TRAVELING TO 132 COUNTRIES. So small that when my smallish suitcase was opened on the luggage holder, there wasn't room to fully open the room door !!!!! The shower stall was impossibly small. There are actually many 1st class hotels in the neighborhood (even adjacent to) this place - that is "cheapo" in everything but price.

Location near good restaurant Nerone Al Viminale and the train station. Beautiful common areas and restaurants and bars. Breakfast included.

Elevator to breakfast was confusing. Air conditioner control was too difficult to figure out or broken.
