We stayed a couple nights prior to our flight. We took a bus to Venice for 45 minutes. Rosa's husband gave us a ride to the bus stop. When we returned we walked the short distance back.
The homemade meals were exceptional. You do pay extra for them
The room was comfortable. And close to the airport.
Didn't use the pool however did check it out. It was clean and inviting looking
Can't say there was anything I didn't like.

The grounds were lush, like the tropics, with flowers and fruit trees, a beautiful outdoor pool and several seating areas around the property. The room was comfortable, with AC and a comfy bed. It’s an old hotel, that was really beautiful in its heyday! A delightful surprise!
Planes overhead every 5 minutes or so, but it wasn’t noisy from the rooms.

Very close to airport which was our main reason for staying here. This is an old farmhouse outside town but close to the airport, with a lot of potential, currently run by an older couple who have a lot of maintenance to do and it's a lot to keep up with. Having run a BnB ourselves, we can attest to the work involved. They were friendly enough, but seemed overwhelmed. On the positive, it has as a large clean swimming pool in a tropical garden, which would have been nice to use on a warmer day.
The place itself is run down, with lots of cleaning up to do around the large lot. We were a bit nervous to the enter based on the exterior of the building on arrival. Same when we arrived in the reception area, it just kind of has a junky run down feel. Once we were in our room, it was clean and comfortable and we were content enough being close to the airport for our departure the following morning, and the simple included breakfast set us up for the day.
