Sondela Nature Reserve & Spa Country House

The peace and quiet at the country house.

Our sweet, "the Francolin" had no safe in the room, even though its says that all the rooms have a safe for guests' valuables, so I was a bit hesitant about leaving my jewelry in the room. Also the spa bath at our suite was unbearably hot and we could not adjust the temperature because it the dial seemed very old and worn out - so we did not even get to use it, although we paid for the deluxe suite with a spa bath,that was a very disappointing😢

We attended the Buite Ekspo and we like it that we could walk from our room to the venue.

We know that the Country House don't accommodate children, but for a child-friendly event like the Buite-Ekspo, I would really like to see that you can make an exception for this weekend regarding children. I've asked the receptionist there and she confirmed that it is only the Country House and the camping grounds that are walking distance from the Expo grounds. We have a granddaughter that is 5 years old and partially living with us (her mother died when she was 1 year old). It would really be nice if grandpa can go for a nap while grandma and -daughter can scout the stalls and spend time and money at the event.

The hospitality is fantastic. The staff is the gem if this place. The chef whipped up a scrumptious 3-course dinner for us.

The aircon in our room was a little tricky to figure out. The night was slightly cold and we wanted to heat up the room.

Bed was comfortable. Good food.

Bathtub was dirty, and we had to ask someone to clean it.
