La literie est un peu dure à mon goût

Le cadre est magnifique, en pleine nature, avec de très beaux espaces et un contact avec les éléments la végétation, les animaux.

Au mois d’Aout l’esprit tranquillité se transforme en camps de vacances avec des enfants qui crient, des vélos qui vous bousculent… bref loin d’un esprit calme et velouté !

This was our third stay here, and once again it was wonderful. It’s the perfect place for families, with a peaceful location that feels wonderfully secluded while still being just a short drive from the beaches. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, and we loved having access to the vegetable garden, such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast is outstanding, and the freshly baked bread is simply delicious.

There are only a few minor suggestions that could make an already wonderful place even better. Given the size of the outdoor pool, it could be worth considering heating it slightly, as the water can be quite cold. It might also be time to review the air conditioning units, as we experienced issues during our last two stays. Although the staff were extremely helpful and did their best to resolve the problem, it was still an inconvenience. Finally, having a small gym with a few basic machines would be a fantastic addition for guests who like to stay active during their holidays.

I read many reviews saying the property was in need of maintenance. I took the view that it was likely shabby chic and boho style and the reviewers were not expecting that. However, so many issues need to be addressed. The bikes dotted around the resort (great idea) are mostly broken including brakes that don’t work and are essentially dangerous. We were told to be careful of the decking and loose screws on arrival so the children didn’t get hurt. The gym is a room with a triangle of small hand weights, and needs attention. The skate park was dangerous broken rusty and unusable. No staff or otherwise were present when we attempted a scheduled table tennis competition at what appeared to be an unused table in a shed in the corner of the site. The food was the worse we had (we travelled to 7 places around Portugal) and I am really sad to say was just not good. I like the concept and we did enjoy our stay in spite of the above. But I would have booked elsewhere in hindsight.
