Kind and helpful staff. Good breakfast, not too many options, but enough of them and all very good. Comfortable beds. Very good location, in Rua de Santa Catarina, 5 minutes from Marques metro station and 10 minutes down the street from the pedestrian area and Via Catarina shopping mall. Walking distance from the center.

A little bit dated interiors, but that's neglectable taking into account the price and the location.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was excellent. It is very close to public transport, with two metro lines within easy reach. The nearest Line D station is only about 3–5 minutes away on foot, while Bolhão station, with a direct connection towards the airport, is around a 12–15 minute walk. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the city centre, many attractions, cafés and restaurants. Our room was very clean and was cleaned every day. There were always enough towels, and all of them were clean and fresh. The room had everything we needed, including a TV and a properly working air conditioner. The hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff were extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. I especially want to mention something that happened on our last day. While we were packing, my ring accidentally slipped off and was left on the bed. The housekeeping staff found it and personally brought it back to me. I was incredibly grateful, as the ring is very important to me. It was a small gesture that said a lot about the honesty and care of the staff. Breakfast was also very good. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, croissants, Portuguese mini pastries and desserts, fresh fruit, several kinds of yoghurt, two types of juice, water and a good coffee machine with genuinely nice coffee. Everything was kept very clean: the tables were prepared, the dishes and cutlery were spotless, and the breakfast area was always tidy. There is also a pleasant lounge area downstairs with a small bar, which is a nice place to sit and relax. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and were very happy with the hotel. Good location, excellent cleanliness, nice breakfast and, most importantly, very kind and trustworthy staff. I would gladly stay here again.

There was very little that we didn’t like. The only small thing was that the bathroom did not have separate shower gel and shampoo. It would have been nice to have them provided, but this was only a minor inconvenience and did not affect our overall impression or rating of the hotel.

We really liked the front desk. The lady was so kind. Her name is Jessica and the room was nice and cool when we entered it. The air-conditioning worked so good. The room was really clean. Beds were comfortable pillows were perfect.

Vieil hôtel, équipements très anciens, pas d'ascenseur, laisser-aller dans l'entretien des locaux et la maintenance des sanitaires vétustes (joint noir autour du bac à douche, abattant de wc en décomposition), salle de bains rustique (pas de mélangeur d'eau) et peu praticable (utilisation risquée du bac à douche, petit lave-mains peu accessible), serrures de portes des chambres peu sécurisées et portes non insonorisées, petit-déjeuner buffet minimaliste avec des produits industriels sans goût, gobelets en carton dans la chambre et même pas une bouteille d'eau gratuite à disposition dans la chambre pour un hôtel que se veut un 3 étoiles (ne vaut vraiment à peine que 2 étoiles en réalité)
