Park Hotel Silemi

We booked sea view rooms in this hotel and the view from the large balcony was amazing with the therapeutic sound of the waves providing background music. The hotel is over three levels with a great bar and very pleasant staff including Cinzia who provided us with lots of useful tips for nearby restaurants and places to visit. The ambience is relaxed with old world charm and a fab relaxing lounge area with lots of games, pool table, and chill out comfy sofas which are great to while away a few hours to read. The pool area is relaxed and the beach can be accessed by approximately 20 to 30 steps which if you like sea swimming is well worth the effort. Letojanni is within a 17 minute walking distance and Taormina can be accessed by car within 25 minutes. I loved this hotel and will definitely return.

Great location away from the bustle of Taormina (easy 15 min drive). Hotel must have been great in the 70s. Still it is clean comfortable and quirky. Pool gets bad reviews but it was clean and the astroturf around the pool is just another quirk. Breakfast was great. Machine coffee only let it down a bit but seems common. Good free parking.

Bathrooms are old. Beds are pretty hard. Pillows are thin.

The proximity to the sea was absolutely wonderful, especially for the value. The water was clean, the stones were great (no sand to wash off!), and there were always available lounge chairs. I was so pleased with the staff, especially Cincia. She was extremely kind and attentive, and she gave a ton of amazing suggestions. The views from the balcony were great, the breakfasts were filling, nutritious, and delicious. The fact we received beach towels was just the cherry on top! I liked that we always had parking and that we were only a 10 minute drive from Taormina, and a 10 minute walk along the beach from the center of Letojanni. I would absolutely stay here again!

La vue à partir de la piscine et à partir de la terrasse restaurant qui donne sur la plage, belle vue et la végétation aussi est superbe. Le petit déjeuner top le serveur et la serveuse très sympathique et le personnel de chambre.

La direction très antipathique car je croyais avoir réservé une chambre avec vue directe sur la mer mais c’était sur le côté avec vue sur la montagne et une petite partie sur la mer. Il a été très désagréable, et aucun arrangement possible à moins de payer un supplément de 60€ par nuit. Alors que sur booking c’était 50€ sup pour les 2 nuits. Il a dit que l’hôtel était complet. Alors que si on avait accepté le supplément il y en avait. Balcon assez petit. La baignoire fuyait par le dessous nous avons dû éponger avec les serviettes de bain mise à disposition. Pas très sécurisant lorsqu’on veut se sécher les cheveux les pieds dans l’eau. Pour un 4 étoiles les prestations des chambres ne sont pas assez bien. Pas de bouilloire, 2€ la bouteille d’eau du frigo.
