The hotel was in an excellent position for visiting all the main attractions. All the places we wanted to visit were within easy walking distance. Added to that there were a few restaurants in the square that we visited for our evening meal. There were also several cafes nearby that we frequented for breakfast and lunch. Rooms were clean but I found the bed really hard and the pillows were very bouncy. Towels were changed every day. After an initial problem the staff were friendly on the whole.

Booking.com took payment a couple of days before we were due to stay. When we arrived at the hotel the reception staff were insistent that only half of the total forthe three nights stay had been paid. We were travelling with friends and I had booked two rooms. I was able to produce evidence of the total amount for the two rooms having been paid but this did not seem to reassure the staff. It was not what we needed after an early start and a long train journey from Alicante. The next morning the manager admitted there had been a mistake and acknowledged that full payment had been received. The shower door did not fit correctly and so each morning we had quite a puddle on the bathroom floor.

The location. Right in the Square with different restaurants/cafes to get to know the Catalan cuisine. The hotel offers really pretty views to the ocean, and it’s really well located depending what you wanna do. If beach, sightseeing or eating.

L’emplacement, vraiment proche de tout ce qu’il faut voir à Tarragone. La chambre était propre mais vieillote.

Le matelas était dur comme du bois, la télé ne fonctionnait pas. Autant l’employé qui a fait mon check in dimanche soir était charmant et souriant, autant celle qui a fait le check out et le petit déjeuner était peu aimable, désagréable et particulièrement inefficace. Pas une parole, fait semblant de ne pas nous voir, et quand on l’interpelle, montre un agacement bien prononcé.
