Property is nice in a great location and well kept

The value for money was really disappointing. We paid £1,100 for a three-night stay, only to find that the same room was later advertised for around £500. I understand that hotels use dynamic pricing, but the difference was substantial and left us feeling that we had significantly overpaid. For the price we paid, the room simply did not meet our expectations. If a hotel chooses to charge premium prices through dynamic pricing, the quality of the rooms and the overall guest experience need to reflect that price. At £1,100 for three nights, we expected a much higher standard of accommodation and service. Unfortunately, the experience did not justify the price, and this had a significant impact on our overall impression of the stay.

The food was spectacular. We had dinner four nights in a row with very good bottles of wine. Breakfast was also excellent.

The lounge area could use a refresh. It felt a bit haphazard with many furnishings that did not match. The addition of area rugs would also add to the atmosphere. The room is too large not to have any rugs.

The location is amazing. The staff were very courteous and went out of their way to satisfy our dietary requirements.

Everything was just perfect.

Wanna, our server at breakfast, was friendly and efficient. A real gem, she single-handedly managed orders, clearing of tables and still took time to greet every guest, remembering previous preferences of repeat visitors. Simply incredible

Staff at dinner were really slow in getting us a bigger table when a friend unexpectedly showed up at dinner time. Dinner also took a long time and was rather salty. The room was very stuffy without air conditioning. The tower fan was not effective at all.
