Puerto Azul Suite Hotel

Very well organised hotel for cyclists, very welcoming. You can park your bikes in the underground garage available from the lift on your room floor, so very easy access. Keys for padlock for your bikes work with deposit, you get all your money back. Room is big, suite style. Lots of room to organise your stuff.

- Room vault only works after paying extra per day! - There was only decaf coffee with a water boiler standard available in our room, no espresso machine. - WiFi says connected but there are often moments where a website/email/video does not load for multiple minutes. Changing to 4G/5G instantly loads the page. So WiFi quality is inconsistent. Improve these things and you get a 10 from us!

Nice and clean hotel, mainly serves British tourists. Overall the location is not near any nice beaches and you definitely need a car to explore the surroundings unless you want to stay at the pool. Breakfast was fine.

Great location, easy to park self drive car. Clean and well kept property, nice and friendly staff

The room was ODD, why do you have a fridge (which we wanted) have a dining table and chairs, multiple shelving. No wine glasses, no plate or knife and not allowed to borrow from the dining room, you need to address this has a simple solution, just provide basics. We wanted a double bed, this was made up of two large singles, a mattress topper was fitted that was to small, leaving large gaps, we had to remove this. Bedroom Not on draw to put clothes away ?? We left 7 am, continental breakfast awful, bread with no toaster working, horrible cheese and ham (nothing like breakfast)

The location is amazing - 5 mins to the beach and all the lovely goings on in town. The kids loved it but they aren’t bothered by cleanliness or comfort!

The hotel is quite basic - more so than expected for the price paid. The vibe is most definitely “Brits on tour” lots of sunbed reserving etc and packed in. The hotel could and should implement something so you can sit by the pool when you want to (although with a lovely beach so near you might not need to).
