I was there for the Ironman event and the location of the hotel was perfect. Very close to the entry and exit for racking and bag drop. The location is far enough from town so its quiet in the evening. The room is cleaned and made up every day. My room came with a balcony so it was perfect for washing stuff post race. The breakfast was a good spread and the hotel was accommodating to athletes with breakfast starting at 5am on the Full Ironman race day! The owner is very welcoming and super helpful.
Keep needing to log into the internet. It doesn't remember that my device has already logged in. First world problem. A neighbourhood dog never fails to start barking at about 6am but if you keep your shuttle closed and window shut with air condition on, it should not be a problem. Nothing that the hotel can do really. The lift is a bit small so bike boxes are a bit squeezy. There is not much parking available at the hotel but the side streets are free to park hence its not an issue. Just need to find a spot over the weekend of the event.
