Great location, comfortable, quite & tidy.
The TV didn't work. I really didn't mind, however other guest may.

Great little guest house, well presented comfortable room, with a good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Well located for transport links into York and major road networks.

The room, probably the original attic, was odd but clean and reasonably equipped. The breakfast (not included in the original booking apparently) was good and very well prepared and presented.
The lock to the bedroom door was difficult; I had to seek out the management to assist. When unlocked, the door opening was resisted by the bedroom carpet.
There was no en-suite and the shared bathroom was on the floor below.
I never worked out how to activate the television provided in the bedroom!
