Great place. Very friendly. Food was amazing including the breakfast. So lovely being right on the harbour.

Breaky was great, didn't require anything else . Not one grumpy staff member plus room was so so clean. Loved the atmosphere as had a feeling the whanau all pitched in

Kids in the carpark one night. However I was very tired.

I loved the location and the privacy. The option to order food on site was a dream after driving 5 hours for an emergency in Waima. I loved the hospitality of all the staff I came across with. The breakfast inclusive with stay was a beautiful touch to our stay with plenty of parking for my disability van and my sons car too. Great to be close to the beach but still far enough for privacy. Excellent Bar Staff and excellent hospitality all round - i will be booking again with my whanau.

A few of the power points were not working and the stove had a mind of its own sometimes it work sometimes it did not.

It was close to the beach. The man that gave our keys was awesome.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations. The breakfast was disappointing, as most of the food was served cold. Aside from the toast, everything else was already cold by the time we received it. Considering the price we paid, we expected a fresh, hot breakfast. We also had to wait approximately 10 minutes while staff went to the dairy next door to purchase milk and bread to top up and restock items, as only about half of the breakfast selection was available when we arrived. The room also did not match what was advertised. We had booked expecting a full view of the sand dunes and water; however, trees significantly blocked the view. Additionally, the driveway requires maintenance. There were several large potholes, which made access difficult and may not be suitable for smaller vehicles. Overall, while the location has potential, improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the guest experience and better align with guest expectations for the price paid.
