Kasbah Tebi

This place is tremendously beautiful. We stayed as a couple and found the entire property very romantic, especially our room (a suite, which was way more than we needed but awesome). We arranged our visit to Ait Benhaddou around our desire to stay at Kasbah Tebi and it lived up to our expectations. One of the windows from our room looked onto the horse stables, and we were greeted in the early morning (up to see the sunrise for photos of the Ksar) by one of the horses which was cute. We booked our stay with less than 48 hours notice, still needing to book transport to town from Marrakech. Seeing that other reviewers had used Kasbah Tebi for such a service, we inquired on short notice about this possibility. We were able to quickly secure a private transfer by Mohammed, one of the family that owns and operates Kasbah Tebi, for a two day round trip tour from Marrakech (including Telouet and Ounila valley on the way to Ait Benhaddou). This was really great as he had us make stops we had not considered which enriched the trip with his local knowledge. He was a fun and helpful guide, and the price was in the range we expected from other inquires during our research. It was a delight to stay here and get to know the family and how they are restoring the Kasbah in a traditional fashion to preserve the atmosphere of the Ksar - a long and thoughtful process much more rewarding than quick fixes. We only wish we could have arranged a second night. We definitely intend to return.

Note - during our stay there *was* electricity and even wifi during some times of the day, unlike what we expected from other reviews, but I would still caution guests to be mindful that you should not just expect it 24/7 and plan ahead. Anyways, you should be coming here to enjoy the unparalleled atmosphere which *is* absolutely reliable.

A magical hide away in the Khasbah. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room, delicious food and lovely staff/owners. This is a once in a lifetime hotel that should not be missed.
