Antique Hostel

Alexandra on reception was lovely, made check in super smooth and welcoming. The hostel was in a good location. They try to put people staying longer on the bottom bunk compared to people just staying one night which is a thoughtful touch (of course depending on availability). Felt very secure. kitchen with everything you need. WiFi was good, I was able to download things to watch before my flight.

Wasn’t given a towel, other people in my room asked and got one for free, when I asked I was told it was rented (15lei) but I could have one if I gave a good review (I was going to leave a good review already but I didn’t like how this felt and was actually the first thing I didn’t like in the hostel). I was then only given a hand towel rather than a full bath towel which I didn’t realise until after. I was on a bottom bunk so wasn’t an issue for me, however the top bunks do not have their own plug sockets so that could be an issue if you don’t have a long cable with you. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable, I did have to position myself around the springs a bit

We booked a 3 beds in 6 beds room and 4 beds in 8 beds room as a 7 person, but they help us about staying in the same room as a group

Friendly staff, very clean. HUMAN reception! (I hate online check in so I was very happy)

This hostel is good for one nights stay. The room was spacious and the bed was good to sleep in.

The kitchen was on the first floor, which means you must to walk all the way down from the third floor every time you need to go to the kitchen. There were also several items that was missing in the kitchen. During the night there was a lot of noise from the outside.
