The property is very isolated, far away from anyone else. No other humans or animals. No barking dogs. No traffic. The pool and outside area was great. The property is COMPLETELY secure for my dog, and you have the entire house and the entire property. Very peaceful and relaxing. The bedroom had an aircon and little on-suite bathroom. The dining table was a good work-from-home space.
The house is very rustic. There is quite a bit of rising damp and it feels a little neglected with some tiles coming off the walls, dishwasher and washing machine not working, basic kitchen and bathrooms, etc. But, it is exactly as the pictures show and the advert reflects. I think it may be a bit expensive for the accommodation, but it was one of the few places that actually delivered 'the entire place is yours'

We had the whole house for ourselves. We loved to spend time in this lovely, quite and authentic place. Clean refreshing pool was perfect during hot days. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our time here.
Stone house was naturally chilly during the nights, but luckily our bedroom was equiped with airheatpump/ac.

The house is very nice and have a warm family feeling. We enjoyed the areas and it is very quit. We hiked Historical Way and the location is perfect for the first few stages of that hike. To sit at the poolside after a hard days work was a blessing as well as the outdoor area for a barbecue and dinner. Maria, the owner is very nice and helpful.
Everything was excellent. The only "negative" is that one of the beds was too hard for a bad back.
