The location, the staff, the size of the room…
Nothing if I was picky the mirror in the bathroom could be heated so doesn’t steam up

Great location
Rooms a bit tired - carpet stained and threadbare. A bit of. Investment would see it as a great hotel
Vs ok at the moment

Fabulous and enormous superior double with seating area and beautiful bathroom. Quirky pub with rooms. Underground vaults were the perfect venue for the family celebrations we were attending. Good breakfast at £15 pp.
Better signage from the pub entrance to the hotel reception.

In a good central location
A double room had two beds pushed together with two single mattresses and a noticeable gap in between.
