Alkionides Rooms

The location and the private parking was great

Best location, close to the restaurants and the sea, the view from the balcony is fantastic😀

Location was great - we could see the sunrise from our bed! We were on the second (last) floor and the view of the sea was lovely. This was really the selling point for us. The rooms are also lovely, bath cabin is a bit small (not sure if a big person will feel comfortable in it as it is quite tight), but otherwise wonderful - furnishing, design, cosy feel - it's all there. As the hotel is on the main street by the beach it does have noise (strangely not coming from the tavern under the rooms, but mostly from the nearby cafes and taverns). But - as my partner is a snorer, it worked well for us as the outside sounds made a nice white noise so that I can sleep (most of the time :)

Erm... the shower cabin can be wider as I kept bashing my elbow in the wall. Otherwise - all good :)

The staff and cleaning team were respectful and helpful.

It left us not impressed, seems much smaller in real life we really missed some more space everywhere and better things, the view is not like the picture in August, its full of umbrellas, there is no sand visible and smells from the nearby restuaruants are pungent, we did not mind the noise since it is a busy street, if you are thinking about going here just know its really crowded. It is genuinely overpriced for what it is.
